My sewing book

We have somthing called happy sticks and they are sticks that if I finish school (or city) then I get 1 happy stick. Then I can buy somthing with my happy sticks. One time I bought a sewing book, and my sewing book has REALLY cute idea's. One of the ideas is fabric-flower necklaces and I'm making one now. I've only got two petals for one of the flowers, though. I hope it will end up as cute as it looked in the picture!

When mom & dad were away

When mom & dad were away I felt like City was watching TV or playing on the computer all the time and it was really distracting and she had a little less school than me. But somthing really cool was that we had a LOT less school than usual, all I had for school was Math, Writing, & Reading. City only had Math, & Reading. But since we did'nt have much school we finished school before kids were out to play. So mom had these bags with diferent activitys to do each day and we opened one bag each day.

Our School life

When we first came here to our villa/house we werent going to public school anymore, instead my mom started homeschooling us. But our our air shitmint wasnt here yet so we just made up whatever we could with what we had. We made a reading corner on the bed in our school room (which is really a bedroom). Basicly what our school assignment was for our mom to teach us history and we'd read a few books. dad also tought us stuff like roman numerals, the metric system and other math stuff. I felt like my schooling was ten times more educational than when I was in public school. Today we have developed a routine with a schedule that we manage ourselves, but its mostly paper worksheets and only one lesson from my mom. I miss my mom and dad teaching us all of our lessons everyday because I think it was more educational. (we got a nanny so I think that is helping.) I remember back when we were in chesterland being jelous about the Gosslins having homeschool, now my friend Maia thinks the same thing about me.
However I have made great progress on my multiplication and division. I think my mom is going to homeschool us next year and I hope she will find a better system. I'm glad this school year is almost over.

A new building

We went to church in our new building last week, and guess who was my primary teacher, mom! Mom got called to be the primary President so she is going to be in charge of who is teaching and what the lesson is on. She said she will call me to be the Prelude pianist. My friend Maya has been filling in for music time too, she does a great job.

The Janadrya Festival

Last week we went to the Janadrya Festival as a family but when we got there, they would'nt let us in as a family. Even though we herd mom could go in that day she was'nt aloud in with us so mom decided to let me, City, & dad go with out her. So mom went shopping while we went to the Festival. When we were there EVERYBODY wanted pictures of City & I. We took a ride on the camel and were surrounded by Saudi men who were shooting pictures, the man leading us had to stop and push everyone away. Later we sat down on a bench for dad to load his backpack and we got surrounded again, after a while this got annoying so dad said to try and avoid having our pictures taken at all. Later we got to see a horse pushing a mill stone and then we got some corn on the cob. Then we found a rug to sit on and eat, but just soon after that we realized it was the prayer rug so we had to hurry and move. Toward the end we found the Lockyers and continued to wander around with them. It was really fun to have a daddy daughter night out.

When Pyper was born

When my mom was far into being pregnent my grandma Lee (my moms mom) came to help. grandma Lee ended up staying longer than she ment & dad ended up staying home from work for a while because the baby was two weeks past due. When mom thought the baby might come soon it was sunday so mom & dad stayed home from church. When we were at church mom & dad went to the hospital (the same hospital I was born in). We stayed after church with Melius family to have lunch together, it was fun. Then we all came back to our house for a while. We were outside jumping on the trampoline when grandma called us in to tell us we have a new baby sister, felicity and I SCREAMED with joy, our new baby sister was finally here! We went to see her at the hospital. I remember her cute little nose and red/brown hair (my mom said she had more hair than we did). I noticed her cute little flat ears, but then later they finally curled like the rest of ours. Me and dad made up "Pyper's Diaper." And that is what I remember about when Pyper was born.
